Lindholmens Technical Gymnasium has approximately 1000 students and 90 staff members and offers Gothenburg's broadest range of technical education – both practical and theoretical. Here you can study the Electrical and Energy Program, Industrial Technology Program, Maritime Education, Technology Program, and HVAC and Property Management Program. The school is certified as a Technical College, and the HVAC and Property Management Program is also certified as an HVAC College, which means close collaboration with the industry and high-quality education. The ventilation specialization at Lindholmens Technical Gymnasium is Sweden's first industry-certified ventilation education within HVAC College. Job Duties As a vocational instructor with us, you plan, implement, and develop teaching together with your colleagues in your team. You teach primarily in subjects within the ventilation specialization and partially in HVAC and property-related subjects. We would appreciate it if you have experience in multiple areas such as HVAC, cooling, property management, but primarily in the ventilation field. You work with practical and varied instruction where student development is at the center, and you provide continuous feedback to help them reach their full potential. An important part of the assignment is contact with the working world, and you will, among other things: Take responsibility for students' workplace-based learning (APL). Collaborate with companies regarding APL placements. Dialogue with APL supervisors and companies. Participate in industry councils to develop education in line with industry needs. You thereby become an important link between school and working life. The role also includes mentorship where you support students in their studies and development. The work is carried out in cooperation with student services, guardians, and external actors. Qualifications We are looking for someone with professional experience in the HVAC and property management field and who has current industry knowledge and broad expertise, primarily in the ventilation field. Teaching certification is desirable but not required. What matters most to us is your professional skill and commitment. If you lack teaching qualifications, we can offer a fixed-term employment, and for the right person there is an opportunity to obtain teaching qualifications during employment.
