JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The operation's goal and mission is to promote learning where the individual is stimulated to acquire and develop knowledge and values. The school shall, in cooperation with families, promote students' comprehensive personal development into active, creative, competent, and responsible individuals and citizens. The teacher shall, based on established goals, work to ensure that students achieve the best possible development, both academically and socially, and actively influence and stimulate students to achieve the goals. Create instruction that, based on the teacher's interpretation and understanding, meets the requirements of school law, curriculum, course syllabus, and subject plan. Be subject-competent, mentor students, plan and lead instruction, assess and grade knowledge development. The teacher has many business contacts in connection with APL (work-based learning). Actively participate in the school's development. Documentation. Teachers in secondary school vocational subjects work within the upper secondary school's operational area and are supervised by the school's rector. As a vocational instructor, you work according to the operation's goal and mission to promote learning where the individual is stimulated to acquire knowledge and values. You promote students' comprehensive personal development into active, creative, competent, and responsible individuals and citizens. In your role as vocational instructor, you work to ensure that students achieve the best possible development, both academically and socially. You create and deliver instruction according to a schedule that meets the requirements of school law, curriculum, course syllabus, and subject plan. You mentor students, plan and lead instruction, assess and grade knowledge development. You will teach both practical and theoretical content. Your responsibilities include documenting according to the school's procedures. You work as part of a team with teachers, student support services, and school management. As a teacher at Dackeskolan, you also have business contacts in connection with APL (work-based learning), you are responsible for arranging positions at companies where students conduct part of their education, and you follow up and assess student knowledge. You actively participate in the school's development and work within the upper secondary school's operational area. You participate in the program's development and planning, as well as pedagogical development together with colleagues at the school. You are supervised by the school's rector. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with basic vocational training within the goldsmith field, either at secondary or higher education level. We also accept apprenticeship training or other training from the goldsmith industry. We desire that you have knowledge within casting, jewelry setting, reworking, jewelry design, and repairs in addition to basic goldsmith skills. We also consider it meritorious if you have experience with CAD such as TinkerCAD or other programs. A B-class driver's license is meritorious. Work-related experience should be several years and broad within the profession. Teacher certification or supplementary training in pedagogy 90 credits is desirable.
