We are a vocational upper secondary school with approximately 300 students today, and we offer the upper secondary programs Child and Leisure, Care and Nursing, Vehicles and Transport, Construction and Infrastructure, Electrical and Energy, Industrial Technical Program, as well as Adapted Upper Secondary School and Introductory Programs. Job Responsibilities We are seeking 1 teacher for the Vehicle Maintenance and Goods Handling program at the adapted upper secondary school. You will form a working team with three colleagues and together you will be responsible for developing the program. The team has great freedom to shape the education in the best way based on the conditions. We have well-adapted facilities and the program has access to a minibus for study visits, etc. We are looking for you with great commitment who is good at collaborating but can also take significant personal responsibility. You should want to be part of creating the best conditions for our students together with us. Good relationships between teachers and students we see as one of the most important success factors. You have high ambitions and are driving in the development of pedagogical work and are challenged by driving school development together with colleagues and school management. You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom. You are flexible and willing to meet the varying needs of the operations. Qualifications Vocational Competence (very important) For the subject Vehicle Maintenance and Goods Handling, substantial industry experience is required, for example within: vehicle maintenance, tire service and simple repairs warehouse work, logistics and goods handling forklift operation and workplace safety This vocational experience forms the basis for eligibility as a vocational teacher. Pedagogical and Personal Competencies Beyond formal qualifications, you are expected to have: good ability to adapt instruction according to students' individual needs knowledge of structure, clarifying pedagogy and practical learning experience with or interest in working with students with intellectual disabilities collaboration skills (teamwork, with colleagues, school management, and apprenticeship placements) Meritorious is experience teaching at an adapted upper secondary school with a practical focus.
