About the School Praktiska Gymnasiet in Växjö offers students a concept where theory alternates with practical exercises both at school and in workplace settings. Currently, approximately 160 students attend our school. Your Assignment We are seeking a passionate and innovative Sales and Service teacher for our gymnasium in Växjö. As our new teacher, you will play an important role in inspiring and guiding our students through subjects such as business economics, entrepreneurship, and business development. We are looking for someone with a curious and innovative mindset who wants to help develop education for tomorrow's entrepreneurs. This is a permanent full-time position (100%) starting immediately. You will teach and mentor our students and work alongside your colleagues. We see you as an important and driving force in developing both the program and the subject matter, with students at the center and in collaboration with colleagues. In addition to subject-specific tasks, you will, like other teachers at the school, take on roles such as mentor and coach students—both socially and academically—throughout their three years at Praktiska Gymnasiet. We primarily communicate through Schoolsoft and work in a Google environment through shared digital documents, calendars, and planning. Your Profile We are looking for a certified vocational teacher in sales and service. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. Even if you lack teacher certification, you have the opportunity to apply. In such cases, you and the school's rector will jointly develop a plan for how you can become certified through the shortest path. Your responsibilities will include contact with local businesses, as a significant portion of students' study time consists of workplace-based learning (APL), so good communication with employers is a valuable qualification.
