The Education Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six administrations and is responsible for preschool, primary school, upper secondary school, adapted primary and upper secondary school, and adult education. With approximately 1000 employees, we offer education that promotes all children and students in lifelong learning and work according to the direction "high knowledge results in a school where everyone can and wants to be". We place great emphasis on working close to operations through regular dialogue and support to school leaders and teachers based on the management chain.
Dackeskolan is a vocational upper secondary school with approximately 300 students. We provide education in, among other areas, industry, construction, electrical work, goldsmithing, vehicles, and restaurant services. We conduct all our education in close collaboration with the business community and external companies.

WORK TASKS
The activity's goal and mission is to promote learning where the individual is stimulated to acquire and develop knowledge and values. The school shall, in cooperation with families, promote students' comprehensive personal development into active, creative, competent, and responsible individuals and citizens. The teacher shall, based on the goals set, work to ensure that students achieve the best possible development, both in terms of knowledge and socially, and actively influence and stimulate students to achieve the goals. Create instruction that, based on the teacher's interpretation and understanding, meets the requirements of school law, curriculum, course plan, and subject plan. Be subject-knowledgeable, guide students, plan and lead instruction, assess and grade knowledge development. The teacher has extensive business contacts in connection with APL (workplace-based education). Actively participate in the school's development. Documentation. Teachers of vocational subjects at upper secondary level are active within the upper secondary school's operational area and are managed by the school's principal.

In your role as a vocational teacher, you work to ensure that students achieve the best possible development, both in terms of knowledge and socially.
You create and conduct instruction according to a schedule that meets the requirements of school law, curriculum, course plan, and subject plan. You guide students, plan and lead instruction, assess and grade knowledge development. You will teach both practically and theoretically. Your work tasks include documenting according to the school's procedures. You are part of a team with teachers, student support services, and school leadership.
As a teacher at Dackeskolan, you also have business contacts in connection with APL (workplace-based education); you are responsible for acquiring placements with companies where the student carries out part of their education, as well as following up and assessing the student's knowledge. You actively participate in the school's development and are active within the upper secondary school's operational area. You participate in the program's development and planning, as well as pedagogical development together with colleagues at the school. You are managed by the school's principal.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has basic education in the trade area, either at upper secondary school or higher education level. We also accept apprenticeship training or other education from the goldsmithing industry.
We would like you to have knowledge in casting, jewelry setting, reworking, jewelry design, and repairs in addition to basic goldsmithing skills.
We also see it as meritorious if you have experience with CAD, such as TinkerCAD or similar programs.
Work-related experience should be several years and broad within the trade.
Teacher certification or a supplementary program in pedagogy (90 credits) is desirable.
