The Employment and Education Administration has collective responsibility for integration, employment market, education, and employment matters affecting our municipality's residents. The administration also oversees the Culture School and food services, and performs tasks for the medical and psychological aspects of student health in municipal preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for an employee who wants to help develop the Vehicle and Transport Program, with a focus on transport. We are seeking someone who is ready to take on significant responsibility and participate in pedagogical development. You will teach both theoretical and practical exercises at the upper secondary level. You will mentor students and participate in the school's pedagogical development work. To thrive in the role, it is important that you enjoy building and maintaining relationships and actively work in line with the school's values and collaborate with the school's other staff. You are passionate about student development and educating for industry needs. You engage with current research and dare to think differently. You work well collaboratively and are open to feedback from both colleagues and management to improve your work. You see the value in working with alternative and digital tools and are familiar with the documents that govern the school's operations. As an educator, you work inclusively, have great commitment and interest in young people and their development. You provide students with a democratic and ethical mindset. It is also important to be able to plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently and establish and maintain timelines. To help students with special needs, you need to be calm, stable, and composed in pressured situations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: -is a certified vocational teacher in vehicles and transport (or has ongoing vocational teacher training) -holds a Category CE driving license -has relevant professional experience in the transport industry -has good knowledge of industry requirements and developments -is confident, clear, and relationship-building in your leadership -has the ability to combine structure with flexibility in teaching -shares the school's values and wants to work closely with students -has been active in the transport industry for at least 3 years Meritorious: -experience teaching at upper secondary level -qualifications in multiple areas of transport subjects -experience working with apprenticeships and industry collaboration Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-08-12, end date: 2027-03-01. Please attach your teacher certification or diploma.
