The school offers seven national vocational programs: • Child Care and Recreation • Construction and Civil Engineering • Electrical and Energy • Vehicle and Transport • Commerce and Administration • Hotel and Tourism • Industrial Technology We also have an Introduction Program and apprenticeship education within our national programs. The school provides a creative environment and we develop our activities in close cooperation with local industry representatives, where student entrepreneurship is in focus. 1 position(s). DUTIES Teaching in the Electrical and Energy Program with specializations in Electrical Technology and Automation. Teaching takes place primarily in relevant subjects within the specializations, especially in Electrical Technology. Work in teams, mentoring, and other relevant teacher duties are part of the assignment. As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and assessing and evaluating teaching based on the curriculum and course plan. You create a safe and inclusive learning environment and support, motivate, and stimulate students' knowledge development through varied working methods based on their individual circumstances. In your teaching, you make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities, encouraging creativity and curiosity, and making it clear to each student that they can succeed in big and small ways. You work based on proven experience and research and strive for students to achieve the best possible development, both academically and socially. You carefully document students' achievement and development. You maintain contact and cooperate with guardians and other actors outside the school and inform guardians about students' development. Through systematic quality work, you work to ensure that set goals are achieved. Together with your team, you develop the school's mission and continuously promote collegial learning. QUALIFICATIONS Formal Competencies: - Professional experience from the electrical industry and manufacturing. - A prerequisite for this assignment is good knowledge of the fundamentals of electrical science and basic knowledge of installation and automation, as well as interest in and experience working with people. - We prefer that you are a trained teacher with certification and qualifications for the relevant area and level, but other education that the employer deems relevant for the assignment may also be applicable. - You have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. - Experience working in educational activities is a merit. Personal Competencies: - You organize and plan your work well, work according to a clear process where you complete what you start. You set timeframes and meet deadlines. - You take active initiative in social contexts, step forward, and have an easy time creating new relationships and maintaining relationships. - You collaborate well with colleagues, managers, and students.
