The Employment and Education Administration has collective responsibility for integration, employment, education, and employment issues affecting our municipality's residents. The administration also oversees the Culture School and food services, and performs tasks related to the medical and psychological aspects of student health in municipal preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, secondary school, and adapted secondary school. WORK DUTIES We are seeking a colleague who wants to help develop the Construction and Civil Engineering program with a focus on earth and infrastructure. We are looking for someone ready to take significant responsibility and participate in pedagogical development. You will teach both theoretical and practical exercises at the secondary level. You will mentor students and contribute to the school's pedagogical development work. To thrive in this role, it is important that you enjoy creating and maintaining relationships and actively work in line with the school's values while collaborating with the rest of the school staff. You are passionate about student development and educating for industry needs. You stay current with research and dare to think innovatively. You collaborate easily and welcome feedback from both colleagues and management to improve your work. You see the value in working with alternative and digital tools and are familiar with the regulatory documents governing the school's work. As an educator, you work inclusively, show great commitment and interest in young people and their development. You foster democratic and ethical thinking in your students. It is also important that you can plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently and set and maintain timelines. To help students with special needs, you need to be calm, stable, and controlled in stressful situations. Work at the school requires that you can collaborate with others, listen, and communicate. QUALIFICATIONS You are an experienced equipment operator/machine operator with a focus on construction machinery and have extensive technical and practical knowledge. You will teach theory and practice with wheel loaders and excavators. If you are a certified teacher in the above-mentioned courses, that is meritorious; otherwise, we want you to be willing to pursue further education as a vocational teacher. It is meritorious if you have a professional certificate, experience in railways, and BE and C driver's licenses. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Employment type: Fixed-term position. Duration: 6 months or longer, Start date: To be agreed upon. Please attach your teaching certification or diploma.
