Tasks and Responsibilities As a Production Technician at WTB Control, you'll be an important part of our continued growth journey. You'll work closely with production and other functions in the business to ensure efficient production flows and high quality in our manufacturing. In the role, you'll among other things: - Work with production planning and technical support to production - Develop and optimize production processes, work methods, and flows - Participate in the introduction of new products, tools, and machines - Create and update technical documentation and production materials - Work on improvements related to quality, productivity, and cost efficiency - Contribute to investments and commissioning of new production equipment - Identify and solve technical challenges in daily operations The role offers great variety where you get to combine hands-on work close to production with long-term development and improvement work. Experience and Qualifications We're looking for someone with experience from manufacturing industry and a strong interest in production technology, machining, and efficient manufacturing processes. You have a good understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing materials, and experience working with 3D modeling in SolidWorks or similar CAD systems. To succeed in the role, we'd like you to have experience with CNC machining and a good understanding of G-code and ISO programming. You feel comfortable in a technical environment where you work close to production and contribute to developing processes, methods, and work flows. If you have experience from the metal processing industry, that's a major advantage, as the business is characterized by advanced machining and high quality requirements. You communicate fluently in Swedish and have good English skills. It's a merit if you have a production technical education and experience with CAD/CAM systems, such as Edgecam. We also look favorably on experience with Mazak machines, automated production solutions such as Palletech, Lean Production, and work with continuous improvements. If you've also worked with project management or business systems such as Monitor ERP, that's an extra plus.
