WaterAid Seeks Sales Manager for Strategic Corporate Partnerships
WaterAid is seeking a business-driven and engaged Sales Manager who wants to create corporate partnerships that make a real difference. In this role, you will have great freedom to drive your work and develop partnerships that help more people gain access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene. Your Role As Sales Manager for Strategic Corporate Partnerships, you will play a vital role in developing WaterAid's collaboration with the business sector. You will identify new opportunities, reach out to companies, and build new relationships that result in funds raised for WaterAid's global operations. In this role, you will develop relevant partnership proposals and drive the process from first meeting through agreement, implementation, and follow-up. You will work with everything from strategic partnerships to marketing collaborations and other forms of corporate engagement. The role involves many external contacts where you represent WaterAid at meetings, networks, and events. At the same time, you will work closely with colleagues in communications, programs, and individual giving units, as your work combined with other expertise and timing considerations forms a whole. Personal Qualities and Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience with own revenue responsibility, sales, and business development. Academic degree or equivalent experience. Documented experience of independently finding new customers or partners and driving dialogues to completion. Experience taking ownership, prioritizing your pipeline, and independently driving work forward. Strong ability to formulate concrete partnership proposals, presentations, and offers. Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, with experience giving presentations. Experience working systematically with planning and follow-up in CRM systems. You live in Stockholm and have the ability to visit companies within the Stockholm region. Meritorious Experience: Nonprofit sector Corporate partnerships in sustainability Marketing collaborations Nordic markets or an international context Knowledge of international development or WASH issues Experience in sales across multiple Nordic countries and knowledge of other Nordic languages in addition to Swedish. Position Terms The position is full-time with 38 hours per week and goal-oriented working hours. Start date by agreement. We apply a six-month probationary period, after which the position transitions to a permanent employment. WaterAid Sweden applies the Fremia collective agreement. You report directly to the Unit Manager for Corporate Partnerships, Rebecca Schulze. We have a generous hybrid policy designed to create a sustainable balance between work and leisure. The work location is Stockholm, and it is possible to work both from home and from WaterAid's office in Hammarby sjöstad. We expect that you will also conduct a significant amount of meetings "in the city" with partners.
