Read more at www.granlundgroup.com Your Responsibilities As an HVAC/Refrigeration Engineer, you will become a central part of Granlund's Swedish organization and work on projects ranging from early concept studies to commissioning and follow-up. You will be responsible for understanding the client's requirements and translating them into technical solutions that meet high standards for safety, operational reliability, and energy efficiency. The work includes design, technical calculations, preparation of drawings and specifications, and coordination with clients, internal disciplines, and external suppliers. You will also participate in site visits, inspections, and system commissioning. The role involves staying current with technological developments in cooling and energy systems and contributing to shaping the future of data center solutions together with experienced and dedicated colleagues. The position is full-time with a start date to be agreed upon. Granlund Sweden has its office in Lidköping, but the position can advantageously be based in other locations within the country. Since many of our projects are linked to Sweden's major cities, regular business travel is expected. Your Profile We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in HVAC or refrigeration technology and professional experience in the field that enables you to confidently take responsibility in technically complex projects. Since the majority of our assignments are project-based, prior experience working in project environments is a merit. You have a solid understanding of cooling and heating systems and experience in design work, preferably with knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MagicCAD, or Navis. Experience from data centers or service centers is a merit, as is familiarity with project-based work and collaboration with multiple technical disciplines. As a person, you are analytical, responsible, and curious. You thrive in an environment where you are expected to drive your own work forward while also seeking support from colleagues when needed. You are unpretentious, positive, and work well collaboratively. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
