Job Responsibilities
As a Techem IMD System technician, you will participate in planning your field work schedule. Your main responsibilities include installation of heat and water meters, commissioning of remote reading systems, troubleshooting, and repairs. The work is often performed in private homes but can also occur in common areas of apartment buildings, housing cooperatives, or condominiums.
For Stockholm, they are seeking a temporary HVAC technician for approximately 2 months. You will work as part of a team with existing technicians under supervision from the head office in Svedala. You will operate from their warehouse and office in Upplands Väsby and will primarily work in Stockholm, Uppsala, and the Mälardalen region. Your responsibilities will also include managing inventory, ensuring you have the right materials for each workday, and documenting your work.
Installation, replacement, and commissioning of heat and water meters in apartments, properties, and common areas.
Troubleshooting, service, and maintenance of metering systems, ensuring correct functionality and remote reading.
Planning daily work, managing materials, and documenting completed installations and service work.
Qualifications, Experience, and Personal Qualities
Trained HVAC technician or equivalent experience as a service technician, pipe technician, or similar
Valid driver's license (Category B)
Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
An advantage if you have knowledge in technology, property management, and networking
An advantage if you have previous experience with installation/maintenance of building technical systems
To succeed in this role, you need to be structured, responsible, solution-oriented, handy, and have a friendly approach with customers and colleagues.
