G Tech Vulk is seeking two vulkanizing technicians. One position is entirely workshop-based. The other varies between workshop and assignments at customer sites. You will be an important part of a small specialist team working closely with the mining and process industry. Two positions with different specializations 1. Vulkanizing Technician, 100% Workshop You work at G Tech Vulk's workshop in Gällivare with rubber coating, wear protection, preparations, vulcanization, and quality control. The role suits you if you appreciate a fixed workplace, practical precision work, and clear workflows. 2. Vulkanizing Technician, Workshop and Field The role is on average approximately 50/50 between workshop and field, but variations are significant. Some weeks can be entirely at customer sites and others entirely in the workshop. In the field, you work with installation, service, repairs, and maintenance of conveyor belts in industrial environments. Work tasks Hot and cold vulcanization and rubber coating Installation, splicing, repair, and maintenance of conveyor belts Wear protection and drum coating Preparations, material handling, and quality control Planned service assignments and maintenance stops at customer sites, primarily for the field role Who we're looking for You are practical, safety-conscious, and thorough. You enjoy working in a small team, take responsibility for results, and want to learn a sought-after specialist trade. Experience from industry, workshop, mechanics, construction, or mining is valuable, but the right attitude and willingness to develop carry significant weight. B driver's license is a requirement You must be able to communicate fluently in Swedish or English Hot Work, fall protection training, bridge crane certificate, forklift certificate, and SSG training are merits but not requirements Work underground or at heights is not a general requirement Working hours and variety Regular working hours are weekdays from 07.00-15.30. Travel with overnight stays normally does not occur. If an assignment requires an overnight stay, you will be informed well in advance. During certain planned maintenance stops, for example at LKAB or Aitik, longer workdays or work outside regular hours may occur. This is planned and coordinated in advance. Final salary is determined based on experience and by agreement Wellness contribution of 2,500 kr per half-year during employment with Folcon Work clothes and necessary safety equipment are provided by Folcon and/or G Tech Vulk Accommodation can be arranged via Folcon or G Tech Vulk. Housing costs are borne by the employee according to the agreement between parties. This is done via a deduction from salary. A clear path toward permanent employment at G Tech Vulk Employment and the way forward You start with a six-month fixed-term employment with Folcon AB. After that, the plan is to extend the employment to a permanent position with Folcon and then transition to employment with G Tech Vulk AB without a new trial period. About G Tech Vulk G Tech Vulk is a specialist company in Gällivare with approximately 7-10 employees and an annual turnover of around 20 million kronor.
