Popis:

Do you want to be part of developing the future of ground warfare training? The Training Unit is seeking a creative professional who can visualize our training and exercise activities. You will document events in both field environments and simulated settings, create pedagogical support materials for instructors and units during evaluations, and take on a versatile role—one day creating instructional materials, the next acting as a professional media contact at major exercises or producing compelling content for internal and external channels. Your primary responsibilities: Under the direction of the Training Chief and in coordination with the Communications Chief, you will communicate the Ground Warfare School's (MSS) activities both internally and externally. Your work as a visual communicator involves significant collaboration and cooperation within your own unit, across the Army, and throughout the Armed Forces. Examples of work tasks: Media Contact at Major Exercises: At larger national and international exercises, you serve as the media contact person. You coordinate visits, brief journalists, and ensure that the image of our operations is accurate and professional. Strategic and Promotional Communication: You create compelling content for both internal and external channels. The goal is to increase internal pride and strengthen the Ground Warfare School's brand and recruiting appeal by showcasing our modern training activities. Production of Training Support Materials: You create pedagogical, visual, film, and graphic materials that instructors use to train units. You break down complex tactics into easily understandable visual materials. Documentation and Evaluation in All Environments: Your materials form a central part of evaluations and provide units with an objective view of their performance. Qualifications: Education: Post-secondary degree in visual communication, media production, journalism, or equivalent. Production: Extensive knowledge of photography, video editing, and graphic design using tools such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and InDesign. Excellent experience managing, handling, and creating engagement on social media. Good knowledge of MS Office. Writing: Ability to write engaging and pedagogical texts tailored to different audiences. Communication Skills: Experience in a representative role or handling media contacts. Language Skills: Strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Driver's License Category B (manual transmission) Meritorious Qualifications: Drone Operation: Experience operating drones for photography/video and knowledge of applicable regulations. Simulation: Experience with or interest in digital training systems and visualization in virtual environments. Armed Forces: Previous military service or good knowledge of military operations. Who Are You? We are looking for a conscientious and proactive team player who thrives in the contrasts between field operations and technology-intensive training/simulation. You have a pedagogical drive and a natural ability to translate complex training scenarios into clear visual communication. As a person, you are stress-resistant and professional, allowing you to work calmly both during intensive exercise periods and in media interactions. You have a commercial sensibility and are driven to create compelling materials that build internal pride and attract external interest. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Additional Information: The position is civilian. Employment type: Permanent with a six-month probationary period. Employment level: Full-time. Work location: Skövde. Start date: By agreement.
