No. 40900023439, invites applications for a LATVIAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE TEACHER for general basic education and general secondary education (profession codes 2341 01, 2330 01), permanent position (0.7 full-time equivalent) at Balvu Professional and General Secondary School. Requirements for candidates: • Higher pedagogical education with appropriate qualifications; • No criminal record in accordance with Article 50 of the Education Law and Article 72 of the Child Rights Protection Law; • State language proficiency at the highest level; • Good communication and cooperation skills. Job Responsibilities: • Plan, organize and implement your pedagogical work in accordance with the goals set by the educational institution, ensure students acquire knowledge and skills in accordance with the education program and its stated goals and tasks, prepare and conduct lessons. • Implement the education program in the subject area in accordance with the established State Education Standard and education program. • Conduct lessons according to the developed lesson/class schedule, regularly (daily) making appropriate entries in the School Management System e-klase journal. • Conduct individual work with students (consultations) to explain difficult study material, motivate learning, develop cooperation and communication skills, and promote social-emotional learning. • Regularly perform formative and summative assessment of student learning achievements and reflect on them, conduct research and analysis of development dynamics, and set further action goals. • Before examinations, prepare assessment criteria for student work and familiarize students with them. • Cooperate with class teachers, educational institution support staff, and management in organizing the pedagogical process. • Attend Pedagogical Council meetings and other meetings related to teaching and educational work in full. Participate in planning the educational institution's activities and evaluating results. • Through your attitude, actions, statements, and conduct, build a positive image of the educational institution, not only fulfilling your direct work duties but also outside of working hours. • Comply with written instructions from the educational institution's director regarding changes to working time and schedule. We offer: • An employment contract for an indefinite period for the performance of the duties of a Latvian Language and Literature Teacher in the basic and secondary education stages, • Monthly salary of 1410,00 EUR per full-time equivalent (in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 445 of April 5, 2016 "Regulations on Teacher Remuneration") before tax deduction.
