Valmiera 2. Secondary School (hereinafter – the Institution) invites a German language teacher (profession code 2330 01) to work on an indefinite basis. The expected start date of employment is September 1, 2026. Work location: Raiņa iela 11, Valmiera, Valmieras novads.
If you have the desire to:
• implement the educational program in the subject GERMAN LANGUAGE in accordance with the State Education Standard;
• lead the pedagogical process with students, applying innovative opportunities and methodologies offered by information technologies;
• participate in the implementation of the Institution's development goals and tasks, as well as in projects implemented by the Institution;
• prepare students for olympiads and competitions;
and if you have:
• education in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 569 "Regulations on the Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Pedagogues and the Procedure for Improving Pedagogical Professional Competence" or are a student;
• compliance with the requirements set out in the Education Law and the Child Rights Protection Law;
• knowledge of regulatory acts governing the education field;
• knowledge of the content of educational and upbringing work;
• proficiency in the state language in accordance with the requirements of the State Language Law;
• computer skills (MS Office programs, one of the web browsers – Microsoft Edge, Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox) and educational technologies;
• competencies: excellent communication skills; psychological resilience and interpersonal culture; ability to make decisions, ability to respond and act in non-standard situations;
we offer:
• compensation in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 445 "Rules on Remuneration of Pedagogues," 1605 EUR per month before taxes for one pedagogical position;
• part-time workload – 9 contact hours for grades 5–9;
• employer co-financed health insurance after the probation period ends, as well as other social guarantees/benefits in accordance with work results and provisions of regulatory acts;
