Māteru Jura Kazdangas Primary School is seeking to hire a music teacher for a fixed-term position to work with students in grades 1–9.
Work Location:
Māteru Jura Kazdangas Primary School, Kazdangas Parish, Kazdanga, South Kurzeme Municipality.
Requirements for Candidates:
education in accordance with the requirements of the Cabinet of Ministers for educators;
ability to plan and organize the learning process in accordance with competency-based educational content;
good collaboration and communication skills.
Main Job Responsibilities:
teach music lessons in grades 1–9;
implement the subject curriculum in accordance with the State Basic Education Standard;
ensure quality pedagogical process;
lead a choir for students in grades 1–4;
collaborate with other educators, students, and their parents;
assess and analyze student learning achievements;
organize individual work with students.
Work Load: 21 contact hours per week.
Compensation: in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers regulations "Regulations on Teacher Compensation".
Start Date: September 1, 2026.
