General Education Teacher

Krustpils Elementary School invites a Latvian language and literature educator to join the team (permanent position). Key Job Responsibilities: 1. Plan and deliver quality education in accordance with competency standards and regulatory requirements; 2. Implement the educational program in the assigned subject in accordance with state elementary education standards; 3. Assess and document student learning outcomes, analyze and examine progress dynamics; 4. Analyze own work, set objectives for future activities, and report results to the educational institution in the prescribed manner; 5. Conduct individual work with students to clarify difficult material, foster motivation to learn, and develop collaboration and communication skills; 6. Provide individualized support to students according to their abilities and needs (gifted student development, learning difficulty remediation, consultations, work with migrants and returnees); 7. Perform class mentor duties as directed by the school principal (class mentor responsibilities are added to the teacher job description); 8. Collaborate with parents, provide comprehensive information, inform them about student achievements and challenges at school, and jointly seek solutions; 9. Work with subject teachers, class mentors, school support staff (psychologist, social pedagogue, speech therapist, school nurse), and administration to analyze student learning, psychological, adaptation, and other issues and determine methods for resolution; Requirements: Education in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 569 "Regulations on Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Pedagogues and the Procedure for Improving Pedagogues' Professional Competence".
