Ādažu novada pašvaldība, reg. No. 90000048472 invites applications for a household pedagogue position to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities in the specialized workshops of the day care and rehabilitation center "Ādažu Ūdensroze" in Carnikava on a full-time basis for an indefinite period. Job Responsibilities: Help specialized workshop clients improve existing and acquire new self-care, social, and work skills, improve their social functioning abilities; Assess client skills, abilities, and readiness to participate and provide necessary support; Organize and conduct classes that promote the development of work and social skills; Observe and evaluate client skill development and changes in behavior and dynamics; Ensure client supervision during work hours; Collaborate with clients, their relatives, and the work team; Carry out other directives and tasks from the manager. Requirements for Candidates: Higher pedagogical education and appropriate qualifications; Ability to plan and organize work in accordance with the specialized workshops' objectives and tasks; Ability to work with individuals and groups; Ability to use technologies and equipment for professional activities (knitting, sewing, embroidery, tambour work, laser cutting, woodworking, etc.); Creativity; Good communication skills and stress resilience, ability to respond flexibly to changes, ability to work in a team.
