Kuldīgas Municipality, Reg. No. 90000035590, announces an open competition for a vacant Latvian Language and Literature Teacher position at Skrundas Primary School for an indefinite period. We offer: - Modern and developing work environment - Professional, supportive team - Part-time workload (18 contact hours, 0.77 rate) - Salary according to Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 445 "Pedagogue Work Remuneration Regulations" 1410.00 EUR/36 hours per month for the workload (before tax) - Opportunities for professional development and training - Health insurance after 6 months of service Key job responsibilities: - Implement the education program in Latvian language and literature in accordance with state education standards - Plan, organize, and implement pedagogical work in accordance with goals set in the educational institution - Conduct classes using diverse teaching methods appropriate to the specific age group and curriculum - Adapt the learning process to students' individual needs and abilities, including inclusive education - Provide students with feedback and assessment of their work - Participate in organizing and implementing school events and institutional development plans - Comply with the work procedures established by the educational institution and other applicable regulations and ethical standards Requirements for candidates: - Education in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 569 of September 11, 2018 "Regulations on Education and Professional Qualifications Necessary for Pedagogues and the Procedure for Improving Pedagogues' Professional Competence" - Compliance with Article 72 of the Law on Protection of Children's Rights and Article 50 of the Education Law - State language proficiency at the highest level in accordance with State Language Law requirements - Ability to use digital tools and technologies in the learning process - Ability to cooperate in interdisciplinary projects, initiate and implement creative activities in the learning process - High level of interpersonal culture and communication skills, psychological resilience - Ability to build professional and positive cooperation with educational institution staff, students, and their parents - High sense of responsibility for assigned duties and accuracy in their fulfillment - Ability to plan and organize your work Competition candidates must submit: - Curriculum vitae describing life and previous work experience - Motivated application (not exceeding one A4 page) - Copies of documents confirming education Application deadline: August 15, 2026 inclusive.
