Head Nurse

SIA "Jelgavas pilsētas slimnīca" (Reg. No. 41703007038) invites a Head Nurse to join the Intensive Care and Anesthesiology Department team. If you have: registration in the Latvian Register of Healthcare Professionals and Healthcare Support Personnel; specialization as a general care nurse in anesthesia and intensive care (considered an advantage); accuracy and ability to work independently and as part of a team; knowledge of instruments and equipment used in the specialty; ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring high-quality patient care and effective work organization; experience in staff scheduling and resource management (considered an advantage); ability to make informed decisions and resolve conflicts in a dynamic work environment; knowledge of the state language in accordance with the State Language Law. Your main job responsibilities will be: lead and motivate a team, ensuring high-quality care in 24/7 mode; organize staff schedules, ensure resource planning and efficient workflow; provide high-quality, safe patient care and monitoring; work with critically ill patients, invasive monitoring, ventilation, critical situations; ensure accurate and safe medication administration, assess patient response; analyze clinical indicators, conduct audits, and improve care processes; provide patient assistance within your scope of competence when necessary.
