No. 50003342481) invites you to join our team Tvaika Street 2, Riga HEAD NURSE (indefinite term, full-time position) (profession code 2221 02) Your main responsibilities: Professionally plan, organize, manage, and oversee care activities in collaboration with medical personnel. Participate in physician rounds and daily shift handovers, ensuring information transfer to care staff. Organize patient transportation, consultations, and examinations, as well as ensure patient nutrition, dietary requests, and food quality control. Manage medication and care supply provisions, monitor the storage, use, and disposal of medications, medical products, and disinfection agents, and control the circulation of narcotic and psychotropic substances by maintaining records and reports in the Palma Medical system. Supervise nurses, nurse assistants, and sanitation staff, cooperate with facility management to ensure optimal staff allocation, and address absences, discipline, work quality, and ethical issues. Provide consultations and practical support within your scope of competence. Accurately and timely complete all required documentation in accordance with regulations. We are looking for a colleague who has: Higher professional education/bachelor's or master's degree in healthcare. Registration in the Medical Professionals Register with the right to practice as a nurse. Professional work experience of at least 3 years in nursing. Preferred professional work experience of at least 1 year in psychiatry or addiction medicine. Emotional resilience in stress and emergency situations with strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients and their families. Ability to rationally organize work even under high intensity and pressure. High sense of responsibility, ability to prioritize, and continuous decision-making capacity. Respectful and honest attitude toward every patient and colleague. Ability to work with e-health systems, Tvaiks, Palma, or other medical documentation systems. State language proficiency in accordance with the regulatory acts of the Republic of Latvia. We offer: Stable and regular salary - 1874.00 EUR (gross) for full-time employment. Compensation for occupational hazard factors - 12%. Regular working hours - 40 hours per week. Additional leave - 5 working days.
