Are you comfortable with the idea of working largely in nature and the forest as your workplace? Then this position might be the perfect match for you! We invite you to become part of our work toward a sustainable future in the role of timber buyer. Here you'll have the opportunity to not only develop long-term business relationships but also share your forestry competence with our forest owners!
With us, forests, people, and businesses grow.
We are now looking for a timber buyer who wants to join our team in the Local Procurement function. As a timber buyer, you will play a central role in promoting active, profitable, and environmentally responsible forestry among private forest owners. At the same time, the role will require independent work that includes fieldwork, meetings with forest owners, and office work. You will operate within an established geography with a stable and well-developed customer base that is familiar with our services. The job offers a high degree of flexibility, where you have the opportunity to plan and manage your workday independently.
Your daily work involves active contact and dialogue with private forest owners. By listening and understanding their needs, you will be able to offer our diverse services in areas such as harvesting and forest management. You are also an important part of the internal process that ensures our commitments to customers are fulfilled as agreed. You thus become the link between our company and forest owners, making your role both rewarding and meaningful.
