We are growing and looking for you who wants to grow with us! We are strengthening our presence – especially in southern Jämtland, which is a relatively newly established and exciting purchasing area. If you are passionate about business, customer relationships, and sharing your forestry expertise, this is your opportunity to become part of our team!
With us, the forest, people, and business grow.
As a timber buyer, you play a central role in promoting active, profitable, and sustainable forestry among private forest owners. You are a reliable partner who contributes valuable advice and solutions, with the goal of creating a smooth, professional, and positive forest owner experience.
The role involves a varied day where you work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues. Your time is divided between fieldwork, meetings with forest owners, and administrative tasks. In some areas, you build on an established customer base, while in others you actively work to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Your day is characterized by close contact with private forest owners. By understanding their needs, you offer our services in areas such as harvesting and forest management. You serve as the link between the forest owner and the organization, ensuring that business is conducted with high quality and in accordance with agreements.
You will become part of an engaged team focused on high service and customer satisfaction, while the role gives you great freedom to plan and manage your own working day.
The purchasing areas we are hiring for are Härjedalen, Medelpad, and southern Jämtland with office locations in Sveg and Ånge. You will report to the Market Area Manager for Local Purchases.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have a solid background in forestry and who thrive in a business-driven role. You are confident in creating new contacts and have a natural ability to build trust. Skills and qualifications we believe you have:
Forestry education and/or professional experience in the field
Sales experience
Good communication skills and an ease for collaboration
Good administrative and digital skills
Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
