Company Description: SCA Skog AB Job Description: Your Next Challenge As a Timber Buyer, you are responsible for contact and business relationships with private forest owners, to whom you offer advice and services that develop their forest ownership. You are the forest owner's primary contact person within your geographic timber buyer territory and manage the entire business process – from initial contact to completed transaction. An important part of your responsibilities is proactive outreach to forest owners to identify current and future needs for managing their forests. You meet with forest owners both in the field and at the office, and some of the advisory work and business discussions take place digitally. The Timber Buyer role is perfect for you if you are motivated by combining relationships, business acumen, and a structured approach. Through your commitment and drive, you structure and plan your work to achieve your goals. The Market function has over one hundred employees, and your immediate team consists of 7 timber buyers and a present, supportive manager. You have a knack for building long-term relationships, enjoy proactive outreach, and put in hard work to achieve your goals. To be the right person for this role, you need forestry expertise and strong commitment to forest issues. Perhaps you have a forestry education, own a forest property, or currently work as a Timber Buyer or in another role related to the forest industry. Your success in the role also depends on the right personal qualities for a sales and relationship-building position. You have good collaborative skills and are skilled at creating both trust and credibility with those you meet. You enjoy nurturing and strengthening relationships while working independently toward set goals. Challenges motivate you, and you have the perseverance to not give up at the first setback. You have a valid driver's license (we provide a company car) and speak and write Swedish fluently.
