Are you a mechanic with a technical interest and a passion for solving problems in an industrial environment? We are now seeking a mechanic in Gällivare who wants to work with mechanical assembly, maintenance, and repairs at our customers' sites. About the Position As a mechanic at VINAB, you will work with mechanical assembly and welding both at our customers' sites and partially in our own workshop. The work is varied and includes everything from planned projects to ongoing maintenance tasks within industry. The role involves both independent responsibility and collaboration with colleagues from different professions. With a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, we deliver solutions that create value for our customers. Key Responsibilities Mechanical work primarily within the mining industry Assembly work Welding work Troubleshooting and repairs Preventive maintenance work We Are Looking for You If You Have experience as a mechanic in industry or similar fields Have relevant education or have acquired equivalent knowledge through extensive work experience Are solution-oriented and practically minded Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team Hold a valid B driver's license Communicate in Swedish Have welding skills It Is a Plus If You Hold a welding certification Have experience with assembly and installation of gearboxes and drive units Hold a forklift license and certification for elevated work platforms Speak additional languages such as English Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who not only has the right skills but is also a person who contributes to a safe, respectful, and positive work environment where people thrive and develop together.
