About the Position As a contract engineer in industrial piping, you will play a central role in the business. You will work broadly and are responsible for estimating and submitting offers for inquiries that we agree on within the department and company. With responsibility for evaluating and following up on estimates and monitoring project progress, you ensure that we deliver according to the requirements specified in the contract. You will also actively search for new projects to bid on. As a contract engineer, you work closely with the sales manager, site manager, and other colleagues. Main Responsibilities · Customer and supplier visits · Organize and administer bid and quotation flows · Prepare estimates and develop bid documentation · Analyze drawings and specifications to determine material and labor costs · Monitor the market for interesting projects · Plan and prepare for project start together with the project team · Work closely with project management, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success · Review and approve supplier invoices · Budget and forecasting work · Assist with procurement and contract matters We Are Looking for You · Possess a college degree in a relevant field, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through extensive work experience · We would prefer experience driving projects in industrial piping or similar previous roles · Have good knowledge of Swedish and English. If you speak Finnish, we consider it a merit. · Hold a valid driver's license (Category B) · Have good computer skills (Microsoft Office) · Focus on sound business practices Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is engaged and wants to develop with us at VINAB. About Vinab Vinab operates in northern Sweden and works with project management, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance within heavy industry.
