About the Position As a contract engineer in industrial piping, you will play a central role in our operations. You will work broadly and be responsible for calculating and submitting bids on the inquiries we agree upon within the department and company. With responsibility for evaluating and following up on estimates and monitoring project progress, you ensure that we deliver according to the requirements specified in the contract. You will also actively search for new projects to bid on. As a contract engineer, you work closely with the sales manager, site manager, and other colleagues. Main Responsibilities · Customer and supplier visits · Organize and administer bid and quote flows · Prepare estimates and create bid documentation · Analyze drawings and specifications to determine materials and labor costs · Monitor the market for interesting projects · Plan and prepare for project launch together with the project team · Work closely with project management, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success · Review and approve supplier invoices · Budget and forecast work · Assist with procurement and contract matters We Are Looking for You If You · Have a college degree in a relevant field, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through extensive work experience · Preferably have experience managing projects in industrial piping or held similar roles previously · Have good knowledge of Swedish and English. If you speak Finnish, we see that as a merit. · Hold a class B driver's license · Have good computer skills (Microsoft Office) · Focus on sound business practices Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is engaged and wants to develop with us at VINAB.
