About the Position As a contract engineer in industrial piping, you will play a central role in the business. You will work broadly and be responsible for, among other things, calculating and submitting bids on inquiries that we agree upon within the department and company. With responsibility for evaluating and following up on calculations and monitoring project progress, you ensure that we deliver according to the requirements specified in the contract. You will also actively seek out new projects to bid on. As a contract engineer, you will work closely with the sales manager, site manager, and other colleagues. Key Responsibilities · Customer and supplier visits · Organize and administer bid and quotation flows · Prepare calculations and develop tender documentation · Analyze drawings and specifications to determine materials and labor costs · Monitor the market for interesting opportunities · Plan and prepare for project start together with the project team · Work closely with project management, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success · Review and approve supplier invoices · Budget and forecast work · Assist with procurement and contract matters We Are Looking for You If You · Have higher education in a relevant field, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through extended work experience · Have experience managing projects in industrial piping or held similar roles previously (preferred) · Have good knowledge of Swedish and English. If you speak Finnish, we see that as a merit. · Hold a valid driver's license (Category B) · Have good IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite) · Focus on sound business practices Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is engaged and wants to develop with us at VINAB.
