Do you have experience in technical documentation and want to work in a role where you can combine technology, structure, and communication? More About the Job As a technical information specialist, you'll work as a consultant with customers and become an important part of developing their technical information. You'll be responsible for the entire information chain – from analysis and structure to production, publishing, and further development of technical documentation. The tasks are varied and can include everything from creating user manuals and technical publications to participating in projects focused on digitalization, information structure, and modern publishing solutions. In this role, you'll: Create, update, and quality-assure technical documentation. Plan and structure information based on user needs. Participate in projects related to digitalization and development of technical documentation. Work with structured information and reusable content. Develop information structures, documentation processes, and publishing solutions. Work with various tools for technical documentation and digital publishing. Provide advice to customers on matters concerning technical information. Lead smaller projects or subprojects depending on experience. Contribute to the development of documentation portals and digital information solutions. Make simple adjustments in, for example, HTML or CSS to improve user experience. Test and evaluate new tools, AI solutions, and working methods that streamline the documentation process. You'll work with customers in industries such as manufacturing, energy, and defense, where assignments vary in both scope and complexity. Required Qualifications Several years of experience as a technical information specialist or in a similar role. Good technical understanding and ability to quickly learn new products and processes. Experience independently planning and managing your own assignments. Experience working closely with customers or other stakeholders. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Meritorious Experience with XML and structured information management. Experience with CCMS or other information management systems. Knowledge of digital publishing and documentation portals. Experience with HTML, CSS, or similar technologies. Knowledge of DITA, S1000D, or other information standards. Experience in project management or coordination of documentation projects.
