Job Responsibilities
As a support educator, you are responsible for pedagogical work and lead the implementation of methodology so that it becomes effective and user-adapted. You play a key role in our quality work in close collaboration with the unit manager (EC) and methodology developer (MUV).
A central part of your work is to ensure quality in the use of our digital operations support system, Boet. Together with the coordinating support educator and unit manager, you ensure that Boet is used correctly to strengthen user participation and streamline planning and documentation.
Your main areas of responsibility include:
Leading the residence's methodology meetings, driving contact groups, and collaborative planning for consistent pedagogical direction.
Being the clear leader for support assistants in your group through professional role distribution.
Ensuring consistent information and decisions through collaboration in support educator triads with the MUV and EC.
Providing support in developing implementation plans and social documentation (in Boet).
Mapping and implementing AAC for our users as well as taking responsibility for contact person duties.
Promoting and developing meaningful activities for our users, where we also have access to our own bus to facilitate outings and social stimulation.
You will also be part of a municipality-wide support educator network for experience sharing.
Working hours include day shifts, evening shifts, every other weekend, and on-call duty. Educator time is not set as a percentage but is planned on an ongoing basis according to the needs of the operations in collaboration with the unit manager. We strive to create personalized schedules through inclusive planning in the work group, although the needs of the operations are always determining.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education comprising at least 200 YH credits or 60 higher education credits with a focus on disability services and/or behavioral science. You have good knowledge of social documentation and are driven in systematic quality work.
You have initiative and are confident in standing by decisions we have made together, while collaborating well with your colleagues. As a person, you are confident, see the bigger picture, and have the ability to structure your workday independently. You are proactive, flexible, and have an easy time building trusting relationships with users, relatives, and colleagues.

Good to Know
To be called for an interview, you must be able to provide a passing grade in Swedish 1 at upper secondary level or equivalent. If this is lacking, you will be asked to complete a digital language test.

Your New Workplace
Hyggesvägen Service Residence provides a safe home for eight users with disabilities (LSS) of various ages, which places high demands on our expertise. We work closely with the nearby group home Furumossen through collaborative scheduling and see ourselves as a unified team.
We are proud to be the only operation in the municipality working with a dedicated support educator team and a setup with contact groups. Our team will consist of a total of four support educators. We are organized in three groups, where one of the educators has coordinating responsibility and serves as the connecting thread between all groups to ensure completeness and continuity in pedagogical work.
