We are now seeking an experienced structural engineer for AFRY in Luleå. Here you will work on varied assignments within the processing industry—from early feasibility studies to building design documentation—together with a competent and engaged team. About the Position
Professionals Nord is recruiting a structural engineer on behalf of AFRY. This assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at AFRY for 12 months. The intention is that you may eventually become directly employed by them, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Responsibilities
In your role as structural engineer, you will work on design and construction within the processing industry. You are responsible for technical solutions and work closely with both customers and the project organization to ensure high quality throughout the project.
Examples of responsibilities:
Be responsible for structural design and/or calculations in projects
Take responsibility for planning, monitoring, and execution of assignments regarding time, quality, and economics
Coordinate and collaborate with clients and internal and external project engineers
Be an advisory structural engineer in early project phases
Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers and contribute to long-term customer relationships
About You
We believe that your personal qualities are crucial to how well you will thrive in the role at AFRY. We are seeking someone with solid experience as a structural engineer who enjoys working on technically complex projects. You have good knowledge of current building legislation and experience with building design and structural calculations. We would like to see competence in one or more areas such as concrete, steel, timber, or foundation construction. Experience from process or other industrial operations is a merit.
As a person, you are organized, responsible, and solution-oriented. You find it easy to collaborate with others, thrive in customer interactions, and are motivated by contributing to both project and business development. We would like to see that you have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
