Renta continues to expand and has recently established itself in Kiruna - we are looking for a solution-oriented Service Technician who has a passion for service and technical solutions! Your responsibilities: Perform repairs, service, and maintenance on various types of rental machines. Troubleshoot and diagnose both mechanical and electrical systems, as well as work with hydraulics and pneumatics. Use both digital and analog diagnostic tools to quickly identify and resolve technical issues. Inspect the machine's external and internal functions, including engine status, battery, hydraulic system, and more. Ensure that machines are in top condition before being sent to customers. Document work in Renta's administrative system to manage work orders. Renta's customers build all sorts of things with their machines. Sometimes they come back intact, sometimes not. What they always need, however, is a little care and attention. You receive, assess the condition of machines, and service and repair them, sometimes even in the field on an emergency basis. You also assist with site setup and support the rest of the depot, from rental staff to distributors. We help each other out, because building is a team sport. We are looking for someone who has: A workshop background. A positive attitude, is outgoing, and service-minded. Good technical knowledge in both mechanics and electronics, preferably with experience in machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Good computer skills as you work in various quotation and order management systems. The ability to work independently, be flexible, and have strong sense of responsibility. A strong interest in construction and civil engineering and a willingness to continuously develop.
