We are now seeking a personal assistant for a position at approximately 80%, with start date as soon as possible. There is also the possibility of a lower employment percentage if you wish to combine this with other activities. About Me: I am a happy and active 12-year-old boy living with my mom, dad, and two younger brothers in Linköping. During the day I go to school, but after school, in the evenings, and on weekends I need support from my assistants. With me, it's usually full speed ahead. I love being outside, doing fun things, and staying active. Some of my favorite activities are jumping on a trampoline, swimming, listening to music, swinging, playing with my little brothers, taking short walks in the forest and around the neighborhood, and riding a cargo bike when the weather allows. I also really enjoy going to the swimming hall. I also participate in activities like music therapy and Händelseriket. As my assistant, you will join me in these activities and be an important part of my everyday life. Who Are You? I'm looking for someone who has kept their childlike spirit and enjoys playing, having fun, and finding activities. You are positive, engaged, and enjoy being active. At the same time, you are calm, responsible, and able to work independently. Since I do not communicate with spoken words, you need to be attentive, observant, and patient in waiting for me. I express myself through body language and sounds, and it is important that you can read my signals and notice how I'm doing. I understand spoken language in simple instructions and phrases. Often I am quite clear about what I want. I also want you to be positive and able to help me learn new things. Great importance is placed on personal suitability, personal chemistry, and ability to collaborate. About the Assignment: Your workplace is wherever I am, based out of my home in Linköping. You will help me in all everyday situations and join me in leisure activities, outings, and other adventures. I have a cognitive disability and need help performing all activities in daily life as well as support with interaction and communication. I need significant active help with eating, using the toilet, getting dressed, and playing. I can walk on my own but sometimes need support to get around. For longer distances, I use a wheelchair or terrain vehicle. Sometimes I become extra playful and active and run around, so you need to be in good physical shape, be able to keep up, and help me avoid situations that could pose risks. Requirements: Good physical fitness Non-smoker Able to swim Good knowledge of the Swedish language Merits: Experience working in care and nursing Experience working with children Working Hours and Employment Percentage: The position is approximately 80%. Working hours vary but are typically: Weekdays 2:00 PM–7:30 PM Weekends 10:00 AM–6:00 PM Start Date: Start date is by agreement. Preferably as soon as possible. Salary: Fixed hourly wage by agreement. Other compensation is provided according to collective agreement.
