About the Role Professionals Nord is seeking, in collaboration with Vattenfall, an operations technician in heat. The assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Vattenfall for 6 months. The intention is that you will then become a direct employee of Vattenfall, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. Responsibilities In the role as an operations technician at Vattenfall, you work together with the team to ensure that the facility is operated safely and efficiently. You gradually learn the entire process and work close to the daily operation of Vattenfall's facility. The role is practical and hands-on where you combine monitoring from the control room with work out in the facility, such as troubleshooting, adjusting valves, working with pumps and simple work in control systems. You work shifts together with the team to keep operations running in an operation that runs around the clock. Examples of work tasks: Operation and monitoring of Vattenfall's facility and processes Operator maintenance and supervision Troubleshooting and process optimization Participation in facility shutdowns and restarts Documentation and monitoring of operational status Working close to experienced operations technicians and process engineers within Vattenfall We Are Looking for You Who Have an engineering degree in, for example, energy technology, energy systems, chemical engineering, process engineering or similar Have a strong technical interest and want to develop practically within process industry and the energy sector Are not afraid to work practically Speak and write fluent Swedish and English Have a B-class driver's license It is meritorious if you already have experience from process industry, combined heat and power, the energy sector or similar technical operations. If you also have hot work certification, overhead crane license or ESA, we view this positively.
