Who Are You? We are now looking for a lawyer who wants to work closely with people and make a concrete difference in their everyday lives. With us, you'll have a central role where you help people receive the support they're entitled to and drive processes that can change lives. We're looking for someone with a law degree, preferably with a specialization in administrative law, social law, or administrative procedure law. Experience in the field is a merit, but we place at least equal importance on who you are as a person. You have a genuine commitment to people's rights and thrive in a role where law is combined with human encounters. You are responsible, organized, and thorough. At the same time, you are attentive, unpretentious, and have an easy way of building trusting relationships. It's a prerequisite for the position that you can express yourself very well in both speech and writing, as language is our primary tool. If you also have knowledge of languages other than Swedish, that's a plus. About the Position We are looking for a new colleague at our headquarters in central Gothenburg. You'll become part of a legal department with two lawyers and will work closely with an experienced colleague with access to support and advice. At the same time, you'll have your own responsibility for your customers and cases, which gives both freedom and opportunity to develop in the role. As a lawyer with us, you'll be an advocate for our customers throughout the entire process from applying for personal assistance to a final decision and, when necessary, further to court. The application process often involves an intensive phase with close contact with the customer and representatives to compile a written needs description. We usually handle contacts with case officers and participate in meetings and investigation conversations with authorities, which largely takes place at our customers' homes. For this reason, a driver's license is desirable. We also serve our customers in Värmland, which means travel can occur, sometimes with overnight stays. As a lawyer at Passal, you'll also serve as legal support for other staff members at the office within this area. As the legal field is constantly evolving, we actively work with environmental monitoring, skills development, and participate in both local and national lawyer networks.
