About the Operation Healthcare Center Ludvika has approximately 15,500 registered patients and is one of two region-operated healthcare centers in Ludvika municipality. The healthcare center has a team of specialists in general medicine, physicians in specialist training, physicians in advanced training, junior physicians, district nurses, nurses, specialist nurses, nursing assistants, counselors, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, mental health coordinators, and medical secretaries. The healthcare center is located at Ludvika Hospital, and the nearest emergency department is in Falun. At Ludvika Hospital there is an Urgent Care unit that organizationally belongs to Primary Care and receives patients seeking acute care from the entire area. There is also a Mobile team that conducts home visits for patients who have difficulty coming to the healthcare center. Job Responsibilities As a locum junior physician with us, we offer you a challenging and varied position. Supervision will be provided by an experienced district physician. The work is varied with patients of all ages and situations. You will work independently with clinic visits including both acute assessments and routine checks such as diabetes and hypertension monitoring. An attending physician is always available on site for consultation. The physicians have collegial physician meetings each week and continuous training is regularly scheduled. You also have the opportunity to influence your schedule and booking calendar. There is an option to work part-time from home with administrative tasks and digital visits. The position is a locum appointment running between 2026-09-01 and 2026-12-31. Qualifications We are looking for you who - are a licensed junior physician or have completed your medical degree - are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written (C1 level) Meritorious experience includes - knowledge of Cosmic - previous experience working at a healthcare center or other clinic You have good communication skills and can collaborate with others while also working independently and making your own decisions. You have good empathetic ability, a professional approach, and excellent interpersonal skills. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
