Daily activity is a form of employment for people of working age with intellectual disabilities, autism or autism-like conditions, or acquired brain injuries. The daily activity program should be meaningful and provide participants with stimulation, development, and community. The goal is for activities to contribute to personal development and make it easier to participate in society.
Within Daily Activity, we work with a clear empowerment-based pedagogical approach where each participant's own will and ambitions are the focus.
The starting point for the program is to create conditions for further development based on each individual's needs.
We are now seeking employment specialists on a temporary contract until May 2027.
Your Role
Your main task is to provide individual support based on individuals' needs and circumstances. You will work both in groups and independently with participants in collaboration with your colleagues. Based on each participant's implementation plan, we create a developmental and meaningful program with the personal support needed to support a process of independence. We offer activities such as music, fitness and light assembly work. We also have a group that attends riding school in Vara.
Together with other team members in the unit, you will help develop the daily activity program to meet users' needs in the future.
Your Knowledge and Experience
You have upper secondary or post-secondary education with a focus on a pedagogical approach and knowledge of various functional variations and their impact on the individual. Or other education/experience that can be considered equivalent.
Knowledge of empowerment and empowerment-based pedagogy is meritorious, along with access to MI, 7TJUGO or similar methods.
