JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking a substitute support assistant for a group living facility under LSS. We welcome your application! The group living facility is home to six adults, each in their own apartment. As a support assistant, you provide support to residents in all aspects of life. You work based on each person's individual needs and actively support them in using their abilities as independently as possible. You assist and help with daily tasks, personal care, leisure activities, and social contacts. Together with your colleagues, you create a calm and stress-free environment with clear routines and predictability for all residents. Each person has an individual implementation plan that guides the support provided. Through participation and care, we aim to create opportunities for change and quality of life. The work places high demands on your ability to collaborate, take own initiatives, and follow established routines. Your responsibilities require you to be attentive, patient, and use your pedagogical skills to support and guide users according to their individual needs. As a support assistant, you are expected to collaborate with users, colleagues, relatives, guardians/administrators, and external contacts to work with the user in focus. Together with colleagues and a support pedagogist, you will also be responsible for planning and developing the activities. You will work scheduled hours during the day, evening, and every other weekend. The position is filled subject to required decisions being made. This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with education from a healthcare and nursing program or a child and recreation program, or other education deemed equivalent. You have experience working in healthcare, support, and care and feel confident performing care services. It is an advantage if you have experience working within LSS activities, dementia care, low-arousal approaches, and clarifying pedagogy, as well as knowledge of AAC (augmentative and alternative communication). We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Valid B driver's license (manual transmission). Extract from the police criminal record is required. Delegated HSL services occur. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: Start date: 2026-09-14 or by agreement. End date: 2026-12-31. Work hours: Scheduled.
