We maintain relatively small classes and a high staff-to-student ratio. We work purposefully to continuously improve our operations with a focus on pedagogical work in the classroom and the development of our after-school programs. We participate in both larger and smaller research-based educational projects. Your Role Together with Blackebergsskolan's professional educators, you will develop activities to be the very best for our students. You will be part of a team of teachers and educators working with groups in grade 4 as a subject teacher and mentor. You need to be able to teach in varied ways and be flexible with different teaching methods. We work purposefully with continuous professional development. The shared professional development plan is based on current research and is decided by our pedagogical leadership team, which consists of our senior teachers, assistant principals, and principal. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades 4-6, with credentials in Social Studies/Natural Sciences being a requirement. You have the ability to design instruction in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current learning standards. You take responsibility for and have insight into student results and needs, and you structure and adapt your teaching so that a safe and appropriate learning environment is created. You make students active participants in planning and develop their ability to learn, both independently and together with others. We place great importance on personal suitability. We appreciate if you find it easy to integrate into a new group and are warm yet clear in your leadership style and relational with students. You work for a good working climate and are responsive and organized as a teacher. You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other tasks included in your role in an efficient manner. You have a good view of students and work to create trusting relationships with guardians. The position also includes mentoring, development conversations, and contact with guardians.
