Welcome to Us The Adults and Disabilities operational area is one of six areas within the Social Services Division of the Northern Inner City district administration. The operational area consists of 52 employees and is divided into four units: the Socio-Psychiatric Unit, the Adults Unit, and two units for disabilities. We strive to offer users, partners, and each other high accessibility and good treatment. We encourage development work and gladly see all employees contributing to improving our operations. To the Socio-Psychiatric Unit, we are now recruiting a substitute social worker as one of our colleagues will be on leave for studies. What We Offer We are located in fresh office spaces in an open-plan environment at Garnisonen with proximity to Karlaplan and Djurgården. Daily work is led by a unit manager. Your Role As an employee of the Socio-Psychiatric Unit, you will be part of a group of 8 social workers who investigate, assess, and make decisions according to the Social Services Act (SoL). The unit has its own reception function that is staffed by social workers according to a rotating schedule. The work involves extensive collaboration with both external and internal partners. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for someone who has: A degree in Social Work or another university education that the employer considers equivalent Experience with public authority operations It is meritorious if you have: Experience with public authority operations in socio-psychiatry Experience with public authority operations in Stockholm City As a Person, You Are: Responsible and drive your work forward in an independent manner. Flexible and able to adjust work tasks according to changed priorities. Stable and able to maintain focus even in pressured situations. Thorough and committed to maintaining high quality in your professional practice. Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis.
