First-Line Social Service
Haninge municipality was early in establishing a First-Line Social Service. Within the First Line, we have gathered early preventive advice and support services with the aim of offering municipality residents help at an early stage so that serious problems can be prevented. We shall be close to the residents and it shall be easy to contact the social service. One of many activities within the First-Line Social Service is the Relationship Violence Team.
We are now seeking a substitute social worker for the Relationship Violence Team
Your assignment
As a social worker in the Relationship Violence Team, your main task is to offer abused and abusive adults support to live a life free from violence. Your assignment includes providing advice and support to, as well as investigating applications for support and protection from, persons who are abused or abusive in a close relationship or in an honor context. People exposed to prostitution and human trafficking for sexual purposes are also part of the target group.
You work with motivational work, public authority functions, and individual support conversations. Continuous risk assessments and safety planning are part of the work. Your assignment also includes having a child focus and assessing the consequences for any children in decisions. You collaborate with internal and external partners based on current needs.
We prioritize offering high accessibility and, together with colleagues, you are responsible for the team's reception phone and email. By combining public authority functions and conversation support within the same team, we offer short decision-making processes and cohesive support for the target group.
The position is a one-year temporary assignment.
What we are looking for in you
We are looking for you with experience working with the target group as well as experience with public authority functions and support conversations.

We continuously develop our operations and you are expected to actively participate in driving and developing the work toward the team's goals.
For the position you must have:
A social work degree or another higher education that is deemed equivalent
Experience working with abused and abusive persons
Experience with public authority functions
Experience working with support conversations
It is meritorious if you have:
Training in Conversation about Violence and Conversation about Freedom
Training in FREDA
Training in PATRIARK
Experience working with ISU
Experience working with FIT (Feedback Informed Treatment)
Your competencies:
The assignment involves partly working with acute situations, which requires that you are flexible and can organize, delimit, and prioritize your work tasks.

Work in the team is led by a group leader and the team has regular supervision and scheduled method time. Opportunities for some remote work are available.
We are located in bright, pleasant office premises with proximity to shopping centers, restaurants, nature areas with swimming, skiing and running trails, and to Handen commuter train station, only 20 minutes from Södermalm.
