Welcome to us Our short-term activities in Stureby and Turinge offer short-term residential stays according to LSS for children and young people with disabilities. The activities have an important mission to create a safe, stimulating and meaningful stay for our guests, with opportunities for community, activities and development based on each child's individual needs and wishes. At the same time, the service provides families with the opportunity for relief and recovery. With us, no two days are alike. Our guests have different needs, conditions and interests, which makes the work both varied and developmental. We work with a pedagogical and structured approach and start from each child's conditions. A respectful and low-affect approach is an important part of our work. As a coordinator, you will become an important part of the operation and work closely with the unit manager and other team members. You will have a central role in creating structure, planning the operation and contributing to ensuring that our guests have a safe and meaningful stay. You will be part of two operations with engaged team members and a clear focus on children and young people's needs, participation and right to a safe and meaningful short-term stay. Here you will take responsibility, use your experience and be involved in developing working methods and routines together with competent colleagues. Your role As a coordinator, you have a central role in the daily planning and coordination of the operation. You work on behalf of the unit manager and are an important link between the unit manager and team members. An important part of your assignment is guest planning, where you plan and coordinate the guests' stays based on their needs, wishes and conditions. Therefore, you need to be able to see the whole picture, create structure and at the same time have a clear child perspective. You also work with staffing, scheduling and temporary staff recruitment, and support team members in daily work. At the same time, you are activity-focused and participate in work together with children and young people, where you provide support based on individual needs and contribute to a safe, stimulating and meaningful stay. Your role includes, among other things: Coordinating daily planning, guest planning and guests' stays Planning and coordinating staffing, scheduling and temporary staff recruitment, and following up and reporting back to the unit manager Being a support for team members and a link between the unit manager and team members Contributing to structure, continuity and quality in the operation Supporting work with documentation and local routines Collaborating with guardians, case managers and other relevant parties Contributing to the development of working methods and routines in the operation Your competence and experience We are looking for you who have: Upper secondary education in healthcare and social services, children and leisure or other education that the employer deems equivalent Experience of coordinating work tasks or another role with responsibility for planning and structure Experience of staffing planning and temporary staff recruitment Good knowledge of documentation and administrative systems Good Swedish in speech and writing as well as basic computer skills It is meritorious if you have experience of: Experience of short-term activities according to LSS for children and young people and work within LSS Guest planning within short-term activities Scheduling and staffing planning preferably in Medvind Low-affect approach and clarifying pedagogy Documentation, deviations and quality work within LSS Collaboration with guardians and other parties involved with children and young people with disabilities We are looking for you who are confident, structured and solution-oriented and who enjoy having a central role in the operation. You find it easy to plan, prioritize and create structure, even when conditions change rapidly. You are unpretentious and find it easy to cooperate with others. You are clear in your communication and have a professional, warm and respectful approach towards children, young people, guardians and colleagues. You have the ability to see both details and the whole picture and understand how planning, staffing and daily work connect. You enjoy switching between administrative, coordinating tasks and activity-focused work. You are confident in handling both planned and unforeseen situations and can find solutions when conditions change. Above all, we are looking for you who want to be part of creating a short-term stay where children and young people feel safe, included and welcome.
