Individual and Family Care Services is organized under the Social Committee and includes financial assistance, harmful use and addiction, domestic violence, children and family, benefits administration, LSS administration, and open care services. WORK TASKS As a reception secretary within Adult Services, you are often the municipality's first point of contact for people seeking support in this area. You are responsible for receiving and handling incoming cases as well as providing advice, information, and guidance to individuals and other stakeholders. The role involves many contact points and cooperation with both internal and external parties. Your main responsibilities are to receive, assess, and handle incoming applications and reports. The position also includes handling temporary financial assistance and emergency necessity assessments, as well as work with incorrect payments and recovery claims. You also handle incoming documents, such as requests for statements and notifications. The work is varied and requires that you can work independently, prioritize between different tasks, and make legally sound assessments, while being part of a work group where we help each other and use each other's expertise. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is trained as a social worker and has several years of experience with authority exercise and social work within this service area. You have good knowledge of current legislation and experience with authority exercise in financial assistance, harmful use and addiction, and domestic violence. Since the temporary position is time-limited, you need to have such experience and confidence in your professional role that after orientation, you can work independently with the tasks included in the position. The work requires good administrative and communication skills and the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You need to be able to structure and prioritize your work and make independent and well-founded assessments, even when the situation is complex or requires urgent handling. Within Individual and Family Care Services, development work is also underway regarding reception functions and increased cooperation between different service areas. Experience with authority exercise and social work within children and youth is therefore a merit. A Class B driver's license is required. Salary form: Monthly salary. Salary range: The salary for the position is currently within the range of 36,700–47,500 per month, based on 2025 salary levels. We apply individual and differentiated salary setting.
