Work with Us Huddinge is a municipality with proud nature conservation traditions where we at the Nature Conservation Unit manage the municipality's 12 nature reserves and one biotope protection area, totaling 39% of the municipality's area and natural land. We at the Nature Conservation Unit are now seeking a substitute land manager at 85-100% according to agreement for the period September 15, 2026 to December 31, 2027. About the Role As a substitute land manager responsible for nature reserves and natural land, you work with land management, leasing of pastures, tenancies, and other forms of land leases within the nature reserves. A central part of the position is to establish and manage agreements related to various types of use rights. You are the Nature Conservation Unit's contact person for matters concerning land management within protected areas and natural land. The role involves ongoing contact with internal colleagues, citizens, companies, authorities, and the political organization. The work tasks include, among other things: Administer and update the Nature Conservation Unit's agreements related to use rights, including grazing, hunting, fishing, etc. Collaborate with other units within the municipality on matters concerning land Contact with external actors and municipality residents regarding questions related to agreements and land matters Project lead the work with demarcation of nature reserves Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team and has a couple of years of experience in land management, preferably from municipal operations or related to protected nature. We want you to: have an academic degree as a game manager, forest manager, in law, or another relevant field, alternatively equivalent work experience in land management, agriculture, or reserve management (including experience with grazing operations). have experience with various land lease agreements such as easements, tenancies, and other use rights be a service-oriented person with good ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish be a team player with good cooperation skills, who is flexible, curious, and enjoys learning new things. have a valid category B driver's license including automatic transmission It is advantageous if you have experience with real estate legal matters and GIS skills. We believe you will succeed best in the role if you have a good ability to independently structure, plan, and lead your work. You can quickly shift focus under new circumstances. Being communicative is of great importance because the role involves dialogue with external actors, other municipal administrations, and Huddinge residents.
