The Facilities Cleaning Unit is part of the technical operations and consists of facilities cleaners who are responsible for cleaning in the municipality's facilities.

JOB DUTIES
As a facilities cleaner, your responsibilities are to perform daily cleaning and work according to established methods and instructions to ensure good hygiene, high quality, and contribute to well-maintained and pleasant facilities within Surahammars Municipality. To thrive in the role, it is important that you are stress-resistant, flexible, and can handle a high work pace. The work often takes place in noisy environments, which requires you to maintain focus and deliver with accuracy even under these conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are now seeking a substitute facilities cleaner. We would like to see that you have experience in facilities cleaning and are service-oriented with a responsible and meticulous attitude. You need to be stress-resistant, flexible, and able to handle a high work pace in environments with high noise levels. Basic written and verbal skills are required, as you will need to follow instructions and communicate with both colleagues and customers.
Personal suitability is important, and we are looking for a self-directed and reliable person with an eye for detail. It is advantageous if you have completed SRY training or equivalent.
A driver's license is required, as you may need to travel between different workplaces within the municipality.
The position requires a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register for schools and childcare.
Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-12-01 with possibility of extension, end date: 2027-11-30.
