Description of Duties
As a teacher in Grade 2, you are responsible for instruction and the usual tasks that are part of the teaching assignment at the elementary level. You teach all theoretical subjects as well as music and work to create an inspiring, safe, and developing learning environment where each student is given the opportunity to succeed.
In this role, you collaborate closely with your grade colleague, special education teacher, and other teachers on the team. Together you contribute to students' knowledge development and well-being through high-quality instruction, based on scientifically proven methods.
You are a clear and engaged leader in the classroom who creates an inclusive learning environment for all students. As a teacher at Hyllinge School, you are also an active and important part of the team's and school's collective development work, where collaboration, responsibility, and engagement are in focus.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher with a teaching degree for grades 1-3.
You have the qualifications to teach all theoretical subjects as well as music and possess good subject didactic competence. Furthermore, you have experience working with early reading and writing instruction based on scientifically grounded methods and a strong focus on students' learning and development.
We value that you have a good ability to translate research and proven experience into practice to create the best possible conditions for each student's knowledge development.

You build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and have a strong drive to collaborate for students' benefit. You have good social competence and are skilled at collaborating to fulfill the school's mission.

Åstorp Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting, taking into account the employee's experience, competence, and current market conditions. An annual salary review is conducted where employees are paid according to our salary criteria: clarity, courage, responsiveness, commitment, and quality. In Åstorp Municipality, employment is covered by the collective agreement Allmänna Bestämmelser.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-10-05, end date: 2027-06-18.
Work hours: Daytime.
