We are now seeking a committed and service-oriented cook for our elder care kitchens. With us, you become part of an important team where the diner is always at the center. We work together to serve good, nutritious, and well-prepared food that contributes to both health and quality of life for our elderly. Job duties: As a cook with us, you will work with • Preparation of lunch and other meals from scratch • Special diets and texture-modified meals • Internal catering • Baking • Goods receipt • Daily self-inspection in accordance with applicable food legislation • Dishwashing, cleaning, and other common kitchen tasks We would like to see that you: • Have experience cooking in elder care or large kitchens • Have good knowledge of special diets, food allergies, and adapted meals for the elderly • Have experience with traditional Swedish home cooking and enjoy preparing familiar and popular dishes • Have knowledge of food hygiene and self-inspection • Are familiar with the National Food Agency's recommendations for public meals • Work in a structured and quality-conscious manner • Have a genuine interest in sustainability and food waste reduction Personal qualities: We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Work hours: Daytime, plus work on weekends and holidays according to schedule. In addition to meaningful and varied work alongside committed colleagues, we also offer the possibility of continued work after the substitute period ends. Since our operations have a recurring need for cook substitutes, particularly ahead of summer 2027, we would like this substitute position to be an opportunity for us to get to know each other for potential future assignments within the organization. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone who is a trained cook or has other experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have a genuine interest in cooking and want to contribute to creating high-quality meals. • Have cook training at least at upper secondary school level. • At least 3 years of experience working in a public kitchen. • Basic computer skills and good computer proficiency. • Speak and write Swedish fluently. Experience is a requirement. To work with us, you must be able to provide a certificate from the criminal records register. Interviews are held on a rolling basis. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration, start date: 2026-10-01, end date: 2027-02-28. Work hours: Daytime.
