Tyresö gymnasium is a school that places knowledge, safety, and confidence in the future at the center. Our vision is to provide every student with the tools they need to reach their full potential, regardless of their starting point. As a school, we are in an expansive and exciting period where much is happening and developing. In fall 2025, we restarted the Social Sciences and Economics programs with strong enrollment interest. Otherwise, the school offers vocational programs, introductory programs, special education services, and adapted upper secondary education. The breadth of programs creates a wonderful and dynamic atmosphere! Tyresö gymnasium has many dedicated teachers and is experienced as calm and safe by both staff and students.
About the Position
This is a 40% substitute position running from August 10 to December 18, 2026. Since religious studies lessons are held on Mondays and Tuesdays, it is important that you are available those days. The position includes planning and teaching religious studies in our vocational programs and is a holiday-fill position.
Who Are You?
You are a certified upper secondary teacher of religious studies and passionate about working with young people. If you have several years of experience teaching at the upper secondary level, that is a merit. As a person, you are accustomed to working independently but also have good collaborative abilities. You are skilled at meeting students' diverse needs and have the ability to build strong relationships with both students and colleagues. In the classroom, you demonstrate good leadership and structured teaching.
