JOB DUTIES As a physical education teacher at our primary school, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction in physical education and health for students in grades F-3. You work based on the curriculum objectives and create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where students develop joy of movement, motor skills, collaboration abilities, and an interest in physical activity and health. Your duties include assessing and documenting students' development of knowledge and adapting instruction based on students' different needs and prerequisites. You work to ensure that all students feel involved, have a desire to be active, and have confidence in their own abilities. You work closely with the school's educators, student health services, and school leadership to create the best conditions for students' learning, safety, and development. As part of the school's staff, you also actively contribute to the school's values work and to creating a positive and health-promoting school environment. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with relevant education for the position and education in the subject of Physical Education and Health. A teaching license with the authority to teach physical education and health is a merit. You have a strong ability to create safe and positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We value that you are a clear leader who can motivate and inspire students toward joy of movement and active learning. To succeed in this role, you need to be responsible, flexible, and have strong collaboration skills. You share the school's values and work to create an inclusive learning environment where all students are given the opportunity to develop according to their prerequisites. We place great importance on personal suitability. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 3-6 months. The position is a substitute position at 75-100% or according to agreement with the earliest possible start date. Interviews and recruitment take place continuously during the announcement period, which means the position may be filled before the final application deadline. There may be an opportunity to extend the employment. Before employment, an extract from the Police's criminal record must be presented in accordance with applicable legislation.
